We even had a few relatives show up in the crowd.

Even at 10:00 am in the morning 3 days before the official Inaugural event people are arriving in droves. Today is Sunday, Jan 18 and an enormous crowd (my guess: 400,000?) have showed up for the outdoor live concert and congratulations with such headliners as Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks, Bruce Springsteen, Samuel Jackson and a constellation of other Stars.
AFTERNOON STROLL ON THE MALL: 15 minutes of fame are promise the curious onlookers (if they can squeeze in the right angle on the crowd shot) down at the MSNBC media station, a portable, self contained broadcast film studio completes with lights, sound, cameras and crew.
BUTTON UP! Besides buttoning up with all their winter coats, this pair of “Obama Button People” made an appearance with over 40 varieties of Obama memorabilia. Gregory Alexander (along with his partner) says “The women seem to favor the one button that shows image of the Obama family!”. In the early first five hours stand out here in the bitter cold his pocket’s heating up, “doin’ alright” as are many of the overnight Barack-image clad entrepreneurs.
