Eth-Noh-Tec, kinetic story theater and Cello Madness Congress will conjure an alchemy of melody and myth into a performance of musical narrative. Eth-Noh-Tec along with Cello Joe and The Cello Madness Congress hosts a very special salon: “The Triumphant Return of the Cello Madness Congress” featuring a USA premiere of composition for eight cellists by composer Ian Stewart from London! Also, composition for octet composed by Oakland, California composer Joowan Kim…and more! Cello Madness Congress…a tribe of cellists declare a new possibilty for cello: spontaneous, improvised, magical musical moments of pure ecstasy. They will astound and amaze your ears. Eth-Noh-Tec will present three stories accompanied with The Cello Madness Congress.

Exploring creativity, challenges, and building community through the images and voices of artists featuring: Kathy Fuji-Oka, Lenore Chinn, Matthew McKinley, and Flo Oy Wong.

Aimee Suzara Fil Am Spoken Word/Performance Artist
“Writes and performs with an unhurried beauty, lyricism, and love of words that contain all of her urgency and fierceness as a woman of color.” – Aya de Leon, poet/performer

Amber Field Multi-instrumentalist
Fresh. Unique. Energetic. The Traveler. She weaves a beautiful tapestry of Indian, African, Arabian, and Western sounds reflecting that the whole world is her home…and home is in her heart.

“One World Awareness, Building Cultural Bridges” is deeply rooted at the heart of their endeavors…creative cross-cultural collaborations: Japanese Taiko, Korean Pungmul Drumming, Okinawan music, Filipino Kulintang music.

Jenny Logico Performance Artist
is a writer, director and performer. She has worked and performed for various theater and film organizations in Manila (Philippines), Hawaii, and New York. Her solo works touch on personal identity and cultural diaspora.

Fay Chiang Writer/Activist
…poet, visual artist, cultural activist in NYC Chinatown for the past 40 years. Her endeavors include involvement with Basement Street Workshop and Henry Street Settlement, publications like Yellow Pearl and Bridge Magazine.

Cello Joe
